Meredith is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Engineering. Her research explores the presence of microplastic pollution in agricultural watersheds and the impact of microplastics on the movement of nitrogen in constructed wetland environments. In 2022, Meredith received her Master’s in Environmental Engineering from UNL. Before coming to Nebraska, she earned her B.S. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in environmental and water resources from the University of Virginia. Meredith is an NSF GRFP recipient and is a part of the AGU Voices for Science program.
